He started trading as Abingdon Estates in 1989 and opened our town centre office at 4 bath street where we operate to this day. Since then, the business has flourished and we now manage one of the largest property portfolios in the area.

Doug Hughes - Proprietor
Doug has worked within Estate Agency for over 40 years and established Oxfordshire Estates in 1989. Prior to this he worked for Buckell and Ballard and became area manager of their branches located throughout Oxfordshire. Doug involves himself in all aspects of the business.
Liz Hughes - Accounts Controller
Liz formally joined the company in 1995 and prior to this worked as a solicitor for a number of legal firms. As Oxfordshire Estates expanded, she decided to join her husband full time in the business. She oversees accounts, administration and legal matters.
Emma Hughes - Lettings Manager
Emma joined the business in 2004 having previously worked for Thames Valley police. She is responsible for letting compliance, property maintenance and administration.
Trish Pimm - Lettings Coordinator
Trish has been with the company for some 25 years. She helps manage all enquiries and works closely with Emma to aid our clients wherever possible.
